• Do I need a WES evaluation to apply to UT Dallas? No. UT Dallas says outside credential evaluations aren't required or accepted for admission, because its own Office of Admission and Enrollment evaluates international academic credentials. You upload your documents and UT Dallas does the evaluation.
• What are the spring deadlines at the Jindal School? For Jindal's MS programs the spring priority deadline is Oct 1 and applications close on Dec 1. Applications that come in after the deadline are still processed, but a decision may not arrive in time for registration. Once you're admitted, UT Dallas lets newly admitted graduate students request to defer their admission by up to two full semesters, not counting summer.
• Is a Jindal MS loan possible without collateral? Yes. If your program is eligible, you can borrow up to $220,000* with no collateral needed, subject to our eligibility, funding and credit assessment*.
• How many recommendation letters do I need? Three, but only one if you have 2 or more years of experience after your bachelor's degree. At least one letter must come from a professional contact, who doesn't have to be an employer. You'll also write a one-page personal objectives statement and upload a resume. The school says its average admitted GPA is currently 3.3.
• Can I apply with unofficial documents to save time? Yes, and the school recommends it. Upload scanned PDFs of your transcripts or mark sheets with the application, keeping each file under 10MB and not password-protected. UT Dallas asks for official copies after you're admitted.
