About the school

The College of Arts and Sciences is an academic unit within the University of South Florida. It boasts the distinction of being one of the largest colleges at the university. Life at the College of Arts and Sciences

New College of Arts and Sciences students join over 50,000 at the University of South Florida. That introduces them to a diverse population and what the university describes as a boundless community.
Housing facilities are available at the resident halls, including the newly developed ‘The Village.’ The state-of-the-art residence offers housing for upper-level students and incoming students. Off-campus options are also available for all local and international students. Please visit the housing portal on the website for additional information. You can also use the STA off-campus apartment finder to make your search easier.
Dining facilities are available at the Marshall Student Centre and four other new dining locations. Students can sign up for meal plans that offer cheaper dining options at the residential dining locations. There is also an allergy-sensitive kitchen for students with special food requirements. The other option is to load dining dollars into a student's account. That way, students can eat on a declining balance model.
Recreation and wellness facilities are available on the main campus. These include a Recreation Centre featuring basketball courts, squash courts, racquetball courts, cardio floors, and more. On the northern side of the campus is The Fit, a workout facility with top-of-the-range recreation and fitness equipment. The busing system – Bull Runner – is available. Students with a valid student ID have free access to transportation facilities. The buses are fully equipped with ramps and lifts, providing easy access to people with disabilities. Students can keep up with real-time information on bus locations and arrivals using the BullTracker app.
