The College of Engineering has five departments. These include Chemicals and Materials Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Biomedical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Each department offers advanced programs in nine engineering disciplines to cater to diverse interests.

Location of the school

The William N. Pennington Engineering Building houses the College of Engineering. The 100,000 sq. ft. complex facilitates innovation in the five College of Engineering departments. It is at 1664 N. Virginia Street, Reno, Nevada.

It decreases air pollutants from extremely high to very low levels and enables research in biosensing and nanotechnology previously unavailable in Nevada. The College of Engineering presents various dedicated scholarships for students. Eligible students can apply for need-based and merit-based scholarships.

Admissions criteria

The College of Engineering looks for applicants who meet the academic standards and demonstrate a passion for engineering and a work ethic. Here are some general factors that are considered to assess your eligibility:

A Bachelor's degree or its recognised equivalent from a regionally accredited institution

A minimum undergraduate grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale

Non-native or international students must demonstrate their English fluency through a recent test score as follows:
