Admissions criteria
- To be eligible for admission, applicants must possess a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
- The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is a common requirement, although specific programmes may have varying GRE score prerequisites. However, there are circumstances where the GRE requirement can be waived. This includes achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale for a regionally accredited US bachelor's degree, demonstrating success in a regionally accredited US graduate programme, or having graduated from a US regionally accredited college or university at least 15 years ago.
- International students whose native language isn’t English must demonstrate their proficiency in the language by scoring a minimum of 76 in TOEFL iBT, 550 in TOEFL PBT, 6.0 in IELTS, or 53 in PTE Academic. To apply as a graduate international student, follow these steps:
- Complete the graduate application, specifying any additional programme-specific requirements.
- Submit the necessary documentation, including your GRE score (GRE or GMAT for MBA only), recommendations, and transcripts. Ensure these are sent directly to the DSU Graduate Office.
- Demonstrate financial self-sustainability by completing the Certificate of Financial Responsibility form.
- Once financial responsibility is confirmed, you will receive Form I-20, which is essential for applying for an F-1 student visa. #### Fees and other expenses The fees non-residents will incur are the following; keep in mind that they are approximate estimates and are subject to change.
