Cornell University Cornell Institute for Public Affairs, launched in 2021, focuses on contemporary educational models like the politics and economics of development; global security; data science and technology policy; health policy; environmental and sustainability policy; race, racism, and public policy; and social policy and inequality. The institution harnesses the university’s wide-ranging expertise in public policy teaching, research and engagement. It offers new and expanded undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and professional public policy courses and degrees. Various scholarship and outreach activities help students develop their academic strengths at Cornell, the school’s core areas. Students are closely associated with the world-renowned Ivy League institution and get the chance to address pressing national and international public policy issues. Admissions criteria

Admission Procedure - Here is the basic application procedure for the residential MPA application - You must complete Cornell’s Online Graduate School Application - Submit unofficial copies of your college and university transcripts - Submit your resume and three letters of recommendation (academic and/or professional are acceptable). - Submit both a Statement of Purpose and an Essay There may be additional institutional, school, and programme admission requirements. For International Students: About 60% of the student body is international. The institute houses a well-established network of programmes that cover everything from immigration and housing to financial and social support. These services are provided by the International Students and Scholars Office. Applicants for whom English is a second language will need to meet minimum scores on either the TOEFL or IELTS exams. Required minimum scores on the TOEFL exam are writing 20, listening 15, reading 20, and speaking 22. The field requirements for the IELTS exam are an overall score of at least 7.0.
