Coming from a humble background, I was anxious about the cost of my Master's degree. Even with a generous scholarship from my university, the expense of a full-time MBA at a foreign school sounded intimidating, and I had little hope given my current financial situation and savings. Prodigy Finance supplied me with an educational loan without the need for collateral or a cosigner, allowing me to pursue my ambition without relying on my parents. This prompted me to approach Prodigy about being a student mentor and assisting future students who are experiencing similar challenges. Coming from a country where the level and quality of education was based purely on the colour of your skin, left parents worrying about their children’s future. On my first day of school (age 9), I realized I was the first brown skin girl and warmly welcomed the new change taking place in South Africa. As former president Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”, I was determined to help in changing this world too. I pushed myself to study in a non-English country and get international exposure. Studying in France stretched my mind, and allowed me to grow. It was a priceless experience and the ability to study at an international institute would not have been possible without the aid of Prodigy Finance.

Hello Everyone, This is Dhruvith Kumar from Hyderabad, India, and I have taken an education loan from Prodigy Finance. I think it’s a great initiative to connect with future students going through what I went through months ago. Especially when it comes to Latin American students who do not have the experience of studying abroad, do not know the admission processes and therefore do not have systems or funding platforms for these purposes. Being part of the Prodigy Finance mentors has allowed me to give back a little of how much the company supports me in completing my master’s studies. I want more prospects to achieve their goals and more students to join this group of motivators.
