Life at College of Health and Human Development

The College has a dedicated body involved with creating space for students and fostering growth and inclusion. The CSUN student organisations conduct various events and activities that help develop the feeling of a close-knit community. The body assists the students to access campus resources, acquire the necessary skills for their professional growth and ensure their marketability. The organisation is able to achieve these goals by fostering community through different collaborations, hands-on management experience, etc.

The CSUN student organisation conducts an event called "Meet the Clubs". At this event, the newly admitted master's students get to interact and learn about the various clubs and understand their goals and mission. The primary goal of this event is to welcome the new students and familiarise them with the various communities on campus. Through the Meet the Clubs program, the newcomers learn about their services, activities and roles and decide which ones they want to join. The dates and other details regarding this event are available on the University's official website.

Additional benefits of studying at College of Health and Human Development

The College of Health and Human Development is committed towards the positive growth and development of the Greek-letter affiliated students. Getting involved with the fraternity or sorority is a great way to be a part of the Matador community and enjoy the fun parts of campus life. These organisations are not just limited to the boundaries of the College but can span even the national and international lines.

They promote the development of numerous skills while nurturing the lifelong friendships developed as a part of these organisations. For most students, being a part of a fraternity or sorority is like being a home away from home. One of the most exciting features of being a part of these organisations is that everyone gets to meet new people and establish bonds beyond college life. Wearing the Greek letters as a part of the organisation means far more than just attending meetings or social events. It gives the students a sense of belonging, allowing them to enjoy the sense of being themselves and respected for their individuality.

Apart from the fun college life, the students of the College of Health and Human Development also get special access to the CSUN food pantry. It is a service that exists to provide the students with all the necessary emergency nourishment free of cost. The program supplies food to all those students who cannot get reliable access to affordable yet nutritious options. The goal of the Pantry is to reduce the academic impact on the nutritional requirements, providing the students with the necessary essentials.
