Here is a broad view of the admission criteria required for students pursuing graduate studies at Boston University - School of Law: Bachelor's degree from a recognised institution. Advanced courses may require a first degree in law Candidates passed out of US law schools must be American Bar Association-accredited law school graduates International applicants must hold a first degree in law or its equivalent from a recognised law school or faculty Notarised official transcripts from all colleges, universities, or graduate institutions, generally from the institution that awards the degree Non-English academic records must be translated, certified, and sent collectively with original transcripts or copies Two to four letters of recommendation from people familiar with your work and/or academic abilities. The applicant must officially translate their letters of recommendation into English if they are in a non-English language and send them to the university Personal statement of interest Latest resume or CV English language proficiency - TOEFL - minimum score: 600 (for paper-based), 250 (computer-based) and 100 (internet-based), IELTS - 7.0.
