Life at Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine

Students joining Boston University are not confined to academic pursuits alone; the university also actively encourages extracurricular activities in the form of social, athletic, artistic, and other student clubs. Students can join literary clubs, classic rock clubs, real rock clubs, intramurals, or club sports. The options are endless! Students may find the Broomball game full of excitement, which allows them to play on a hockey rink without the benefits of ice skates. Students can still dig for more intriguing activities by contacting the Office of the Dean of Students to initiate a new one. The office runs the Student Activities Office, the Programming Council, and BU Central- the university's late-night programming venue. Athletic students can benefit from the Department of Athletics, committed to greatness in the community, the classroom, and the athletics world. The department has helped student-athletes represent the university and achieve high excellence with solid commitment, integrity, and sportsmanship on and off the field. Participating in intramural games is an enjoyable experience. Intramurals are full of enthusiasm, competition, and fun. The games are open to all students, faculty, and staff. In addition, the alumni can join in the summer.

Additional benefits of studying at Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine

Students who love sports can join one or many of the 36 student-run club sports teams. The numerous clubs may confuse students about which to join. Students do not need to be an expert in sports, as they can play casually or for fun. Sports enthusiasts may participate in any or many games like basketball, baseball, cricket, cycling, equestrian, and fencing, to name a few. However, students participating in intercollegiate competitions and tournaments can practise regularly. Many students can appoint coaches to help them enhance their skills and be triumphant in their next game. The Department of Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance's programme managers oversee and advise all club sports. The university hosts hundreds of art events open to the public at no cost. Art-loving BU students can take courses in the arts. The more than 70 art groups help keep the university thriving with creativity.
