Established in 1896, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) is one of the leading universities under the People's Republic of China's Ministry of Education (MOE). The Shanghai Municipal People's Government and SJTU jointly established the China Institute for Urban Governance (CIUG). Admissions criteria

Shanghai Jiao Tong University, through its 33 colleges and schools, offers more than 100 graduate programmes to international students. The study duration is between 2-3 years (full-time) for graduate programmes and 4 years (full-time) for doctoral programmes. The admission requirements may vary from programme to programme.
