The Housing Center Student Association or HCSA is the body that is responsible for programming, service and advocacy for all the resident students. This body works in unison with the organisations on campus and enhances the experience of residents living in various spaces. Even though the HCSA overlooks all the resident life activities, every resident hall and university apartment has a community council. This council is responsible for meeting the needs and demands of that specific community.

Multiple safety programmes are available on campus to ensure students can fully live their college life. SafeWalk is a program that provides a complimentary service to students anywhere on campus. If the students do not feel comfortable walking alone back to their residential areas, they can ask for trained staff who are readily available between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. The official numbers for accessing the service are available on the college's website. However, one can use the blue emergency phones to connect directly to SafeWalk. The staff arrive at the said location within 10-15 minutes and accompany the caller to their campus destination.
