Admissions criteria
To apply for admission to the University of Minnesota - School of Dentistry, you must submit the following requirements:
A bachelor's degree in the related field
A minimum of 87 semester credits or 130 quarter credits of courses from an officially accredited U.S. or Canadian college or university
DTA Requirement: An applicant must complete the following requirements: Academic Average: 20.71
Perceptual Ability: 20.90
Total Science: 20.19
Academic record, grades, and test scores. Accurate reporting of high school grades is essential. It must be translated into English if you are an international student
A statement of purpose if applying for certain programmes Three letters of recommendation from professors, employers, and supervisors
International students are required to additionally prove their English proficiency by submitting their English Proficiency test scores. Some of the tests and their scores the institute accepts are:

Minimum Score needed in the IELTS Academic: 6.5
Minimum Score needed in Duolingo: 110
Minimum Overall Pearson Test of Academic English (PTE Academic): 59
