Founded in 1940, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (UL) - College of Engineering is a prominent top-rated educational and research institution. The campus has 180+ student clubs and organisations, including academic and major-focused groups, fraternity and sorority life, leadership groups, community service organisations, religious organisations, and sports to give you an immersive overall student experience.
The on-campus housing at the university offers nine residence halls, including furnished suites, junior suites, traditional rooms, two, three and four-bedroom apartments, and family housing styles. The accommodation consists of single and double-sharing options and amenities such as free laundry service, kitchen, living room, utilities (cable, internet, electricity, garbage, water), and more. If you choose to live off-campus, many housing options are available for rent near the campus.
From Cajun and Creole dishes to Asian fusion, you can relish a meal with several meal plans at the cafés and restaurants across the campus. UL also houses a dining room specially created to provide high-performance meals for student-athletes. Additionally, you can keep your health and wellness in check with health care, counselling and testing services, sports clubs, and a student recreation centre offering a fitness centre with new equipment, a rock wall, and fitness classes. Furthermore, paid parking spaces are available on campus. For transit, you will have access to daily bus shuttle and charter bus services, a motor pool, and bikes enabling in-campus mobility.

Admissions criteria
You must meet the minimum criteria for a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised university. Once you meet the essential criteria, complete the online application form with personal details.
As an international student, you must attach the following supporting materials after completing the form:
A personal statement/Statement of Purpose (SOP)
Letter(s) of recommendation
Undergraduate transcripts (translated into English)
A graduate admissions test result (GMAT, GRE, LSAT)
Proof of proficiency in English (e.g. TOEFL/IELTS): All international applicants must submit scores for either of the tests stated below;

TOEFL: 79 IELTS: 6.5 PTE: 53
Resume/CV
Minimum Scores/GPA: 2.75 (for masters programme applicants), 3.0 (for doctoral programme applicants), on a scale of 4.0
