Admissions criteria
If you plan to take the TOEFL iBT, you must achieve a minimum overall score of 80, with specific section scores of 19 in Writing, 26 in Speaking, 17 in Listening, and 18 in Reading. If you opt for the IELTS, you should aim for a minimum overall score of 6.5, with individual section requirements of 5.5 in Writing, 8 in Speaking, 6 in Listening, and 6 in Reading. Beyond language proficiency, you must hold a Bachelor's degree. Alternatively, you can have an equivalent degree from an accredited institution. Your degree should align with the intended graduate programme. A satisfactory scholastic average, often defined as a minimum GPA of 3.0 (B), is typically expected. Kindly note that there is an application fee of USD 155 that international applicants are required to pay. Remember to include 3 letters of recommendation. These letters are pivotal in assessing your suitability for the graduate programme you are interested in. You will need to submit a Personal History and Achievements/Contributions statement. This statement is essential to admission committees as it offers insights into your background, accomplishments, achievements, or contributions. It helps them evaluate your suitability for graduate study and provides a comprehensive view of you beyond your academic qualifications. You must provide a Statement of Purpose. This document evaluates whether your academic objectives typically align with the graduate program goals you wish to join.
