One of the top-ranked law schools in the United States, the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law (UCLA), was founded in 1949. With dedicated faculty and influential teachers, the school provides a solid educational foundation for its students in law and practical training.

Life at the School of Law
The School of Law is part of the UCLA campus, one of the leading research universities. Los Angeles is the most dynamic cultural centre, offering rich and artistic cultural and social scenes. The students can access museums, theatres, restaurants, and many outdoor events such as sports and musical concerts. The city's pleasant climate allows many student recreational activities, including mountain biking, skiing, and surfing.
The UCLA School of Law provides help to find a home on the beautiful campus or outside of the campus in attractive neighbourhoods. The school has two options for law students: the university-owned property, which offers engaging and accessible residences for law students, or the privately owned properties, which are off-campus housing apartments. The school also provides affordable housing for students visiting UCLA scholars or faculty.
The School of Law has over 50 student organisations, such as the American Constitution Society, the Business Law Association, and many more. These organisations help students by providing opportunities to engage with diverse communities and build connections in Los Angeles with practising lawyers and other employers. Various health and wellness programmes are available to keep students mentally and physically fit.

Admissions criteria

The students must pay a non-refundable fee A bachelor’s degree or post-baccalaureate degree with a minimum 3.0 score from a U.S.-accredited school Statement of Purpose with a word limit of 500, 1,000, or 1,500 words. One-page personal statement with a word limit of 500 words
-English Proficiency Test Requirement:- A minimum TOEFL score of 560 is accepted A minimum score of 7.0 for IELTS is required The obligatory tuition fee for a California resident students

As per the records for 2021, 95% of graduates are currently employed in long-term roles. Below are a few career assistance programmes offered by the School of Law. UCLA LLM Interview Programme: All the LLM students at the School of Law can access this programme. Again, this recruitment drive lets registered students present themselves in front of interested employers. More than 400 legal employers visit the school annually for recruitment. Office of Career Services: The professionals at UCLA Law's Office of Career Services are highly experienced in career counselling. They offer career counselling, special panel discussions, and on-campus interview resources to support students. Office of Public Interest Programmes: This programme offers a variety of internships and job search-related services to students looking for career enhancement.
