The housing complex for the graduate students is located in the downtown campus in New Orleans. There are provisions for one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartments which are fully furnished before the students enter. In total, there are approximately 300 apartments. This encompasses a variety of studio options including one-bedroom and one-bathroom units, two-bedroom and one-bathroom units, as well as three-bedroom and one-bathroom units. The rates for all these accommodations vary depending on the length of stay and the type of room the student chooses. Each of these apartments are separate and come with some standard pieces of furniture. For example, the kitchen has a refrigerator, stove and a microwave. Those opting for the 2-bedroom option get an additional pantry. The living area has a sofa, chair, floor lamp, coffee table and a television stand. Students who have bikes or cars and require space for parking may contact Campus Services for spaces. Common washers and dryers are located on each floor of every building. Students looking for a quiet place to concentrate can visit the study rooms on the 4th, 6th and 8th floors dedicated solely for the purpose. The courtyard on the second floor is open to all and is equipped with tables, chairs, loungers, etc., making it the ideal place to relax and have a great time with friends after a stressful day.

Admissions criteria

To start the application process, the applicant must create an account in SOPHAS Official transcripts need to be uploaded from all the previously attended institutes For institutes within the U.S./Canada, the official copy of the transcripts should be sent directly to the university Even though there is no cut-off for GPA, it is recommended to have more than 3.0 Submitting a statement of purpose is mandatory for all applicants. It should address some specific questions mentioned on the website The maximum acceptable length for the statement of purpose is 2 pages with double spacing Uploading two letters of recommendation is a must for applicants to a master's programme The applicants must share the contact details of the recommenders to SOPHAS, and they will ask for the letters on the applicant's behalf via mail A complete resume or CV mentioning all the previous work experience, employment history, internships, etc.
For international applicants aiming to pursue a master's degree from the school, they must submit the following additional documents: Applicants must submit a course-by-course evaluation of the international coursework by WES, ECE or SpanTrans The applicants must also submit the official English Proficiency Test scores. The only accepted tests are TOEFL and IELTS
