Established in 1981, Rush University Graduate College adopts an innovative approach to scientific discovery, encompassing cutting-edge scientific techniques and fostering analytical and critical thinking. The Graduate College primarily offers academic programmes focused on master's degrees in biotechnology, clinical research, and integrated medical science. International graduate students get to join a diverse student population at the college. Life at the Graduate College
Over 40 active student organisations offer a life outside of the classroom at Rush University. Every group focuses on a specific area of professional interest, social issues, personal issues, or religious and ethnic affiliations. The Office of Community Engagement gives students the chance to participate in community outreach. Students can volunteer their time in service to the community. Rush University does not have on-campus housing facilities. However, international students can get guidance on housing decisions from Rush University housing resources. Furthermore, the university has listings on its website for off-campus housing resources. There's the option of local apartment buildings and area apartment brokers. Note that the university does not take responsibility for endorsing or recommending any of the listings. It is up to individual students to do proper due diligence before signing up. Dining facilities are available on campus at various facilities. For quick food takeout, there is the popular Starbucks in addition to many other eateries at the academic centre. Students at Rush University have a wide range of transportation options and benefits available to them. These include various parking options, access to Divvy bikes, and convenient shuttle services. Notably, there's a free commuter shuttle that traverses between Ogilvie and Union Station. Students need to show their ID cards when they board. The remote daytime shuttles offer transportation around the campus. The bike-sharing system Divvy is also quite affordable with a yearly fee. Additionally, bike racks are provided for those who prefer using their personal bikes, ensuring their safety. For students seeking mental wellness support, the Center for Clinical Wellness Services offers free assistance. Furthermore, the Rush Fitness Center is available to students at a cost. This facility includes a range of amenities such as circuit training, cardio equipment, personal training services, and various exercise classes.

Admissions criteria
Any student needing an F-1 visa falls under the category of international students. Rush University leads Illinois universities in post-graduation earnings, boasting an average annual salary of around $74,000. Notably, all graduates in biotechnology and clinical research secured employment in 2020, achieving a 100% job placement rate. Many of the graduates become consultants, teachers, patent attorneys, etc. The Career Development Office provides a range of professional development programmes for students. All with the aim of helping them prepare for their subsequent careers. The office arranges workshops, seminars, events, and one-on-one advisory support. The Professional Development Awards provide financial support for professional development activities. Students can get supplemental funding for travel related to such pursuits. The Professional Development Awards also cover graduate student research and fellowships. Also worth mentioning is the e-mentoring programme that connects alumni, professionals, and students.
