PLU strongly recommends new students to reside on campus in its 8 residence halls. Special check-in dates are provided for international students to accommodate their unique settling in challenges and required attendance at International Student Orientation.

During breaks, while most residence halls close, two halls remain open for international students who can't travel home, ensuring their comfort and convenience. PLU's commitment to international students' housing needs ensures a smooth transition and supportive living environment.

On-campus hospitality services and restaurants at the college include The Commons dining facility, Old Main Market convenience store, Kelley Cafe, The Lute Café, and University Catering. The dedicated staff is committed to offering nutritionally balanced meals, practicing integrity in hospitality, and promoting sustainable initiatives. The main cafeteria, The Commons, provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while additional coffee stands and snack options are available across campus. These services enrich campus life by fostering community and culinary excellence.

The common admission requirements for all programmes at Pacific Lutheran University - College of Professional Studies include:

• Application fee (non-refundable)
• Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
• Two letters of recommendation
• Resume/ CV
• Interview, if invited (for specific programmes)
• Completion of admission prerequisites (varies by programme)

Please note that an offer of admission is valid for one term. Students who have been granted admission but have not enrolled in any programme (for the term of admission) need to request for deferral permission or apply again for another term.

The International Admission Checklist for Pacific Lutheran University - College of Professional Studies includes:

• Submission of official international and French-Canadian transcripts to the PLU Graduate Admission Office
• A copy of a university/college degree diploma
• Proof of English proficiency: You must obtain the minimum score in the following exams to be eligible- TOEFL Internet-Based exam: 80-86, IELTS: 6.5, PTE: 56, Duolingo: 105.
• I-20 form issuance after admission.

• Necessary items for I-20 processing: Declaration of Financial Support Forms, passport copy, and courier service details for I-20 delivery.

• English translations through PLU-approved services if documents are not in English.
