Admissions criteria
The School of McGill Faculty of Law admits two types of students: residential or permanent in the US and international students seeking to study abroad. The admission process involves the following steps for both categories:
- Research and understand the application specifics, prerequisites, and dates
- Submit an online application with a non-refundable fee, considering unique requirements for second undergraduate programmes
- Track application status on the applicant portal and promptly respond to documentation requests
- Upload additional files as needed through the applicant portal
- Applications are evaluated based on admissions policies and competitiveness among candidates
- US students require a statement letter (translated to English), Proof of English and Local language proficiency
- Research application categories, requirements, and policies
- Apply online with a non-refundable fee, following guidelines for second undergraduate programmes
- Check application status on the portal and respond promptly to document requests
- Upload supplemental documents through the applicant portal
