About the school
Lawrence Technological University (LTU) was founded in 1932. Located in Southfield, close to Detroit, it offers diverse courses in Arts, Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. LTU expanded into a number of notable colleges, including the Lawrence Technological University - College of Arts and Sciences (CoAS) in 1967. CoAS has a comprehensive curriculum that includes computer science, actuarial science, cognitive psychology, media communication, physics, biology, chemistry, and data science. CoAS’s multidisciplinary approach focuses on providing students with critical technology skills as well as adaptability for their future employment.

Admissions criteria
When applying to Lawrence Technological University, you need to meet a few admission criteria. To secure admission, the students have to satisfy the following types of information according to the admission section of the official website:
- Completed online LTU Application or a Common Application
- A personal statement or essay written by the applicant
- Official and original transcripts from all post-secondary institutions are to be sent directly from the issuing institution in a sealed envelope. -Transcripts not issued in English must be accompanied by a certified translation
- The Graduate Record Exam (GRE) is not required
- As a graduate student, you must have 79 on the TOEFL iBT, 6.0 on the IELTS, and 105 on the Duolingo English Test
- A professional resume
- 3.0 or higher GPA on the 4.0 scale
