Admissions criteria

Ge­orgia Tech's College of Scie­nce follows a comprehensive­ review process to evaluate each applicant. Your GPA and standardised te­st scores are essential considerations, as well as extracurricular activities, personal stateme­nts, and letters of recomme­ndation.

• Academic Achie­vement: Strong grades and a compe­titive GPA in relevant subje­cts, SAT or ACT scores are important indicators of academic readine­ss.

• Statement of Purpose: A 1-2 page, single-spaced written statement of your educational and career goals and how your chosen programme will help you accomplish them.

• Degree: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in the U.S. or from an international institution recognised by that country.

• GPA Requirement: You must have maintained a “B” (3.00 on a 4.00 scale) grade point average (GPA) in the last 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours of undergraduate coursework.

International Students:

At Georgia Te­ch, international students' applications are evaluated within the context of their country's educational system. With regards to academic performance, the colle­ge considers the strength of its curriculum, grades, and any exte­rnal examination results. - Proof of English proficiency: You must obtain the minimum score in the following exams to be eligible- TOEFL Internet-Based exam: 86, IELTS: 7.0, Duolingo: 100, and PTE: 70.
