About the school
The Indian Business School is a private university founded in 2001 in Hyderabad, Telangana. Its second campus at Mohali was inaugurated in 2012. It is a non-profit organisation funded entirely by private corporations, foundations and individuals from around the world.
The Indian Business School is the 100th school in the world to achieve the ‘triple crown’ of accreditations from AMBA, EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
With a rich alumni network of over 17,000 worldwide, Indian Business School has left its mark in diverse domains. Some of its famous alumni are Aman Gupta (co-founder and CMO at boAt Lifestyle), Ankur Warikoo (co-founder of nearbuy.com), and Ravinder Singh (bestselling author), among others.

Life at the Indian School of Business
ISB provides a global experience that goes beyond academics. A world-class facility and extracurricular activities are specifically designed to meet this need. Both campuses are equipped with state-of-art facilities.
There is an international student exchange programme in place to encourage a diverse demographic on campus.
ISB provides accommodation and recreation amenities on par with the world's leading B-Schools. The Student Villages accommodate students whose families live with them. Married students can reside in single-bedroom furnished apartments, and families with small children can use the daycare service. Others can choose between studios and shared accommodation.
Each campus has dining services as well as cafeterias and cafes. There is a swimming pool, a recreation centre, a bank and ATMs, a wellness centre, and a post office, among many other facilities. There is also a travel desk and a cab desk for easier travel. For the bookworms, there is a library with computer access as well as a bookstore on campus.

Admissions criteria
Admission requirements and fees vary for different courses. A general set of admission requirements is as follows:
Must have an undergraduate (Bachelor's Degree)/post-graduate degree in any discipline Preferred: Full-time work experience - required number of years varies from course to course A valid GMAT/ GRE score: GMAT scores range from 530 to 780, GRE scores range from 319 to 330 TOEFL/IELTS score is required for non-Indian students where English is not the primary language
Fees and other expenses
A tentative list of expenses an international student might incur:
- Housing fees: around ₹2,89,000 for shared accommodation and 5,16,000 INR for studio accommodation
- Meal plan charges: around ₹90,000
- Books and course materials cost: around ₹20,000

Tailored Career Training: The Career Advancement Services (CAS) at ISB is responsible for arranging the right employment opportunities for its students. The school is the pioneer of lateral placement services in India. CAS provides career counselling, corporate networking sessions, and career management services.
Career Resources: CAS works closely with the Student Engagement and Applied Learning (SEAL), and together provide the following services: opportunity landscaping, aspiration and skill gap assessment, skill enhancement, demand assessment, regional outreach
