Duquesne University’s Palumbo Donahue School of Business is an institution known for its commitment to excellence in business education. The school's roots go back to 1913 when it began as the School of Accounts and Finance. Over the years, it has evolved and expanded its programmes to become a prominent business school. These centres, also called residence halls, serve as the hub for students outside classes. On-campus residence halls, such as Des Places Hall and Brottier Hall, provide 24/7 security, laundry facilities, high-speed Wi-Fi, and more, creating a conducive environment for learning and growth. If students prefer off-campus accommodation, various housing options are available near campus. These include Duquesne PA Apartments. The Office of Residence Life can provide more information. Meals and dining are convenient and readily available. Over a dozen dining spots are open at various times, some even 24/7. You will discover suitable options on campus regardless of your dietary preferences. You can dine at Nite Bites, Fisher Market Express goodies, and many others. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is essential, and Duquesne University acknowledges this by providing access to fitness centres and recreational facilities. The Power Recreation Centre offers state-of-the-art equipment, fitness classes, and wellness programmes to support students' physical and mental well-being. Getting around in the city is easy. Students can explore the city, attend events, and commute easily with multiple options available. The campus is well-connected through public transportation, including the Duquesne University Shuttle Service. The South Side Shuttle operates from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekdays. Additionally, the Pittsburgh Regional Transit (formerly Port Authority) offers various bus routes serving the campus, providing schedules and fares.
