Admissions criteria

Every graduate applicant must meet specific criteria to secure admission at the Teachers College, Columbia University:

  • Statement of purpose (SoP): The SoP should outline the student's academic and professional background, plans for graduate school, professional objectives, and how and why the student is a suitable match for the programme
  • Resume: Must include the student’s educational background, career experience, extracurricular activities, and other notable achievements
