The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine has four campuses, with Memphis as the largest, housing foundational training and extensive clinical and medical research programmes. UTHSC's College of Medicine offers limited housing at Hayden Place Apartments for UTHSC students. It's a gated community with many basic utilities included. Along with accommodation, the College of Medicine students also have access to a dedicated student lounge, free parking, financing for meals, 24-hour access to the UT Medical Library, and access to the exclusive Skills Lab & Simulation Center. The University of Tennessee Health Science Center's Office of Student Academic Support Services and Inclusion (SASSI) offers relevant support and resources to help students manage the academic, emotional, and social issues that come with health science courses. SASSI promotes an inclusive environment through free counselling, case management, and assistance for all students. UTHSC Campus Recreation department encourages a wellness-focused lifestyle with group fitness classes, personal training, seminars, and individual workouts. The UTHSC Outdoor Adventures programme provides a variety of outdoor pursuits, including thrilling kayaking and whitewater rafting excursions on rivers in Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina.
