Admissions criteria

To be eligible for admission to the graduate programmes at the University of New Mexico - School of Engineering, candidates are required to meet the following comprehensive criteria:

A Bachelor's degree from a regionally recognised institution

GRE scores

Uploaded copies of past transcripts while applying

Letters of recommendation

Statement of purpose, objectives, portfolio, CV/resume, and writing sample

International students are required to provide English proficiency test scores. Some of the tests and their scores the institute accepts are:

Minimum Score needed in the Internet-based TOEFL (iBT): 79

Minimum Score needed in PTE Academic: 53

Minimum Overall Band Score needed on the IELTS: 6.5
