About the school

Established by the University of Nebraska Board of Regents in 1872, the College of Agriculture started its international programmes branch in 1954. Subsequently, in 1990, the institution was renamed as the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR), and a decade later, the Master of Agriculture programme was introduced.

The University of Nebraska - Lincoln has three campuses in total - East Campus, City Campus, and Innovation Campus. These campuses are approximately two miles apart from each other. The college's driving force is to make a positive impact on both the local community in Nebraska and the world at large. Global initiatives, study abroad programmes, and community outreach efforts reflect CASNR's commitment to fostering global citizenship and social responsibility.

Graduates from the institute hold leadership roles in a wide range of organisations. This includes major grain handling and processing companies like Cargill, Bunge, and ADM, manufacturing companies such as John Deere, Exmark and CLAAS, and irrigation system manufacturers like Eco-Drip, Lindsay, etc.
