Admissions criteria

To apply for admission to the University of Minnesota - Medical School, you must meet the following requirements:

A bachelor's degree in the related field

A minimum MCAT score requirement of 495. Thus, applicants must adhere to this to be considered for admission

A self-reported academic record, grades, and test scores. Accurate reporting of high school grades is essential

Four letters of recommendation or one committee packet. At least one letter must be from a research advisor

International students are required to additionally prove their English proficiency by submitting their English Proficiency test scores. Some of the tests and their scores the institute accepts are:
