Admissions criteria

There are some definite steps that students need to adhere to to meet the admission requirements. To apply for graduate school at the University of Houston, prospective students need to create an ApplyWeb account through the University's website Students need to choose a programme Applications need to include scanned copies of official transcripts Some programmes may also require GRE or GMAT standardised test scores To apply for a specific programme, applicants should provide all required documents, which would include letters of recommendation, a personal statement, as well as a resume or curriculum vitae After gathering all the necessary documents, applicants should submit their application along with the required application fee

International students need to meet English proficiency requirements as demonstrated by TOEFL or IELTS scores. The minimum TOEFL score required is 79 for the Internet-based test and 550 for the paper-based test. IELTS applicants must achieve an overall score of 6.5. The Duolingo English Test is also an accepted option, requiring a minimum score of 105. Test scores should be sent directly from the testing agency.
