The College of Technology at the University of Houston was established in 1941. The College, in 2023, merged with the Cullen College of Engineering and was reformulated as the Technology Division. These include the ATT Technology Lab, which is a hub for the international educational and research community to exchange ideas and the Optical Networking research lab, which promotes research in optical networking. The Intelligent Sensor Grid and Informatics Lab conducts research in biomedical sensors and image processing, intelligent systems and mechatronics. The Instructional Support Services Lab provides instructional support for students. These labs facilitate graduate research and innovation.
