College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (NSM) of the University of Houston was established in 1975. The College is situated in Houston, a city characterised by its remarkable diversity. Navigating the Campus is a breeze with the convenient and cost-free Cougar Line transportation system. It offers reduced fares for off-campus commuting. Parking and Transportation Services extends benefits to University of Houston community members who carpool with three or more individuals, offering reduced permits and prime parking spaces. Students can join COAST (Coogs on Alternative and Sustainable Transportation), which rewards participants who carpool or use eco-friendly commuting methods. Admissions criteria
International students applying to graduate programmes at the University of Houston College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics should adhere to the following admission criteria.
- Submit transcripts and degree certificates or diplomas. If they are not issued in English, their translations must be provided.
- Proof of proficiency in English is required:
- IELTS: a minimum overall score of 6.5
- Duolingo: a minimum score of 105
- TOEFL: 79 or higher (iBT), 550 or higher (PBT).

The UH Energy Career Fair is a collaborative effort between UH Energy, the UH student organisation, and University Career Services.
