About the school
Ted Bauer, a graduate of Harvard, who also served in the U.S. Navy in World War II, and who was listed in the 2001 issue of Forbes Four Hundred Richest Americans co-founded AIM Investments in Houston. The University of Houston Bauer College of Business was established 20 years later, in collaboration with Mike Cemo, a University of Houston graduate. It was formerly known as the College of Business Administration at the University of Houston. On July 12, 2000, it received the largest up-front award to any single college in the history of the university, when Ted Bauer endowed the college with a gift of $40 million. The name was changed to C. T. Bauer College of Business, which has maintained the reputation of retaining world-class faculty, developed innovative curricula and special programmes, launched five graduate certificate programmes, and created an environment from which tomorrow's business leaders are emerging. UH is home to 180-plus master's and doctoral programmes and is ranked in the top 20 research institutions in the U.S. with the most international students. Bauer College of Business is accredited by AACSB International and is placed in a league of the world’s leading business schools.

Bauer Student Development Opportunities include the Ted Bauer Leadership Certificate Programme, where students build a solid leadership foundation, learn to make decisions with integrity, and better understand their strengths. Step 2 – Choose the right programme and submit relevant documents
These documents include: - Official transcripts - Test Scores (GRE, GMAT, etc.). Use school code 6870 when reporting test scores to the University of Houston - International applicants have to satisfy English proficiency requirements via satisfactory scores on the TOEFL or IELTS standardized exams. Step 3 – Fees

The University of Houston graduate programs receive applications from students representing more than 100 different countries.
