Warrington College of Business, located in the prominent city of Gainesville, Florida, is often considered the entrance to the University of Florida. The college aims to make students the innovative business leaders of tomorrow. The Warrington College of Business has over 6,000 students pursuing different types of courses. These courses are offered at three different centres on the College campus – Heavener School of Business, the Fisher School of Accounting, and the Hough Graduate School of Business. While the first centre offers undergraduate programmes, the second and third centres offer specialised master’s, MBA, and PhD programmes. Students pursuing graduate-level programmes at the Warrington College of Business have the flexibility of choosing one of the four on-campus accommodations – Corry Village, Diamond Village, Tanglewood Village, or The Continuum. All of these are centrally located within the University of Florida. The accommodations provide comfortable facilities like full-size kitchens equipped with ovens and refrigerators. Admissions criteria
Generally, applications to various programmes at the Warrington School of Business vary based on the courses that students choose. The following is the basic requirement for students seeking admission for a full-time MBA course at the college: - Filled pre-application form - Filled University of Florida (UF) graduate school application form - Non-refundable application fee - A letter of recommendation from an employer, academic, etc. - Official transcripts of academic records - A graduate admissions test result (GMAT, GRE, LSAT and more) - Proof of proficiency in English: TOEFL – minimum score of 80 for internet-based test, 213 for computer-based test and 550 for paper-based test, IELTS - minimum score of 6, MELAB – minimum score of 7 and a minimum score of 30 in the verbal test part of GMAT is mandatory - Relevant proofs of immigration - Certificate of financial responsibility - Relevant VISA documents Please consult the school’s website for information on all tuition and fees.
