Admissions criteria

The University of Colorado at Denver's College of Engineering, Design, and Computing has different entrance requirements for each of its programmes. For overseas students, the following general prerequisites apply:

  • GRE scores are not mandatory.
  • Official transcripts in English from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended
  • A statement of purpose needs to be submitted with the application.
  • A CV or resume needs to be submitted with the application.
  • Three letters of recommendation from academic or professional sources (the fourth one is optional)
  • Proof of English proficiency: You must obtain the minimum score in the following exams to be eligible- TOEFL Internet-Based exam: 79, IELTS: 6.5, Duolingo: 105, and PTE: 58.
