Students can be part of the Student Union, often called the “Heart of Campus.”

UCF Housing offers a range of shared suite and apartment-style floor plans, providing 24-hour staff support, furnished rooms, all-inclusive utilities, Wi-Fi, individual leases, and convenient locations. Students can also opt for Living Learning Communities, where they reside with peers with common interests or academic programmes. On-campus housing options include The Towers apartments and Rosen College Apartments. UCF also offers off-campus housing like NorthView, managed by UCF.

This research laboratory, co-sponsored by Florida Power & Light (FPL) and GE Digital, trains future engineers to traverse the modern grid with a focus on sustainable energy. In addition, the L3Harris Corporation Engineering Center houses 30 research laboratories as well as two specialised computer-aided virtual environments (CAVEs) for virtual and augmented reality.
