Davis is the ultimate college town with its lush green and friendly campus. You can take a bike or stroll to the main street from the campus in a few blocks. The city has 60 miles of greenbelt with a continuous stretch of protected bike trails through the shaded park that allows the student to keep in touch with nature in the bustling city of Davis. With all the art galleries, live music, shops, and bookstores, students have several things to do in Davis.

The residence halls offer academic advising, event spaces, and markets with international snacks and local treats. In addition, the school offers living and learning groups to help students connect with like-minded people. It has five housing options: The Green at West Village Apartment, Cuarto Residence Halls, Tercero Residence Hall, and Segundo Residence Hall. UC Davis also offers gaming and recreational centres such as bowling, PC gaming, billiards, and many more. The residence option allows the students to seek guidance and support, and if the students want to grab a snack, the UC has many options for that as well. The stores and student markets near the residence hall sell national and international cuisine to match the students' taste buds.

In addition, the students can also experience and try their hand at gardening in their free time and test their green thumb. They will also find students and friends with common interests and topics, including African and African American, Health Sciences, Chicanx-Latinx, University Honors Programme, and music.

The dining options for students are many. Whether they want refreshing beverages, appetizers, or a complete, Davis has everything to satisfy the students' cravings. The UC Davis Dining Services offers some of the best food made from sustainable and college-grown sources. Additionally, the college offers fine dining experiences at the Latitude, Scrubs Cafe, and the Gunrock.

Admissions criteria

UC Davis grants admission to candidates with great potential for graduate study who are willing to contribute significantly to their academic or professional disciplines through research, teaching, or professional practice after receiving a graduate education. All the students (native and international) have to apply through an online form by submitting an application fee. Once the application is sent, they need to submit the documents as mentioned below: - A duly filled application form - A personal statement written by the applicant - A letter of recommendation from an employer or academic - The applicant’s undergraduate transcripts, which must be translated into English - A bachelor's degree or equivalent comparable to a degree from the University of California - A graduate admissions test result (GMAT, GRE, LSAT) - Proof of proficiency in English (e.g. TOEFL - 80, IELTS - 7.0, DUolingo - 115) - Resume/CV - A minimum GPA score of 3.0 - Application fee payment
