Admissions criteria

The admission requirements vary for different courses. International students applying for graduate programmes at Berkeley Engineering should adhere to the following general admission criteria:

  • All applicants should pay a graduate admission fee of USD 155

  • Bachelor’s degree or a recognised equivalent from an accredited institution

  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0

  • Degree certificates or diplomas and transcripts issued in the original language accompanied by their certified English translations prepared by translators from the American Translators Association or the Ministry of Education.
