Life at the Graduate College

At the University of Arizona, students can live in any of the 23 dorms or the several fraternity and sorority houses on the Campus. The dorms are in the four housing districts at the University of Arizona. Some of these have living-learning communities. La Aldea is a great housing option for professional and single graduate students. Those who wish to live outside the campus can check the off-campus housing website that lists the rental residences available near the University. The Arizona Dining and the Arizona Catering company serves all the dining locations on the Campus. Students can dine at the several eateries located in the four housing districts. Various affordable meal plans are available to them, including Swipe, Debit, and Honours Village meal plans. Worth mentioning is the UA Campus Pantry, which aims to reduce food insecurity in the Wildcat community. Students do not need to restrict themselves to campus meals. The vibrant Tucson urban locality has many eateries serving delicious cuisines. Students can unwind by participating in extracurricular activities at the three recreation centres on the Campus: SouthREC, NorthREC, and BearDownREC. They house courts, fully equipped gyms, workout spaces, swimming pools, and more. Communication within the campus is made more accessible with the Cat Tran, and students can use the UA Carpools to travel to the university from nearby areas. Students can purchase the U-Pass for unlimited rides on The City of Tucson Sun Trans Bus System and Sun Link streetcar.
