About the school
The Manderson Graduate School of Business at the University of Alabama was founded in 1944 with the inception of the MBA programme by Lee Bidgood, the first dean of the Culverhouse College of Business. The school was renamed The Manderson Graduate School of Business in 1987 in honour of the Manderson family's generous contribution. Over the years, it has established itself as a prominent institution for business education, garnering recognition for its exceptional programmes and faculty expertise.
