About the school
The A. B. Freeman School of Business was founded in 1914 as the College of Commerce and Business Administration at Tulane University. Located in New Orleans, Louisiana, the School is a founding member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) - the premier accrediting body for business collegiate schools.
The business school has a mission to create a sustainable future by imparting high-impact business knowledge to train adaptable and transformative business leaders. Famous alums of the school include Hemang Desai (senior professor at Southern Methodist University), Valentin Dimitrov (associate professor at Rutgers University), and Vivian Fang (associate professor at Minnesota University).

Life at the Freeman School of Business
The Office of International Students and Scholars at Tulane University is responsible for meeting the needs of the international community on campus. In 2018, Tulane international students reported higher overall happiness (92.7%) compared to global (90.8%) and U.S. (91.5%) averages, providing an insight into campus life at Freeman.
There are several residential options available for students on campus. Suite-style residences like Décou-Labat, Greenbaum, Lake, and Mayer Residences offer single and double-occupancy suites. At the same time, Aron Residence is an apartment-style living space with single and double-occupancy apartments. Butler, Josephine Louise, and Monroe Residence Halls offer community hall-style living spaces with single, double, and triple rooms. Graduate students can find housing at Deming Pavilion, which has 300 apartments for single or double occupancy. Off-campus living spaces are also open for students to rent.
Multiple dining locations are spread across campus, such as the Dining Room at Malkin Sacks Commons on the uptown campus, the Primate Centre Delta Café, or the LBC food court. Graduate students can access multiple meal plans, including kosher options. Each plan includes meal swipes for campus dine-ins, Wavebuck$ can be used across cafes and restaurants, and NOLAbuck$ for select off-campus locations.
Staying healthy is essential, and the TU fitness centre, which the Department of Campus Recreation runs, offers amenities that can help you do that. Additionally, Tulane University's transportation system includes Tulane TapRide, an on-demand van service that can take you wherever you need to go, and Tulane Shuttle buses, which are available for on-campus and off-campus commutes.

The complex's $3 million trading centre is designed to mirror a commercial trading floor to provide students with first-hand trading experience. The Academic Advising Suite and a student incubator at the Lepage Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation are also available.

Admissions criteria
Admission requirements and fees vary for different courses. A general set of admission requirements includes:
Online application form with an application fee of $125 (non-refundable) paid upfront Resume One essay no longer than 350 words (for master’s programmes) or three between 500 and 700 words for the PhD programme One or more letters of recommendation (depending on the programme) Course by course transcript evaluated by either of the following evaluators - SpanTran, Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE), Educational Perspectives, One Earth Evaluators, and World Education Services (WES) GMAT/GRE score report Proof of English proficiency through TOEFL (iBT 100, cBT 250, pBT 550) or IELTS (7.0) score or PTE or Duolingo An Affidavit of support and financial documentation through a Certificate of Eligibility (Form I-20 or DS-2019)

Freeman's Career Management Centre is responsible for arranging all placement and recruitment-related activities on campus. The centre taps into the college’s robust alum network to help new graduates make connections within the industry. The centre offers first-hand support by:

Nearly 50% of MBA graduates from 2020 were employed within three months of graduating, with an average salary of $86,100. The school has an excellent record of employers, who include J.P. Morgan, Deloitte, Dell Technologies Inc., Tesla, EY, PWC, P&G, Walt Disney, and more.
