The New York University - School of Professional Studies (NYU SPS) boasts a vibrant and diverse student community. The NYU SPS Graduate Student Council actively fosters connections among students. Obtaining an NYU ID card grants access to campus facilities, fitness centres, libraries, and computer labs. The on-campus housing option includes 20 residence halls in Greenwich Village and Brooklyn Heights in New York. They primarily consist of shared rooms and very few private rooms. Admissions criteria
The New York University School of Professional Studies (NYU SPS) sets rigorous admission criteria for its graduate programmes. The general prerequisites for international graduate applicants are as follows: - Bachelor's degree that is equivalent to a US undergraduate degree - Official transcripts should be submitted. A course-by-course evaluation of the transcripts by a recognised foreign educational credential evaluation service is mandatory. If your undergraduate degree is in progress, then you can upload unofficial transcripts. - Applicants should include a comprehensive resume detailing professional experiences, affiliations, volunteer work, etc. - A 500-word minimum personal statement is required - 2 letters of recommendation from academic or professional sources - Proof of English proficiency: You must obtain the minimum score in the following exams to be eligible- TOEFL: 80, IELTS: 7, VEPT (required if applicants do not have the minimum TOEFL or IELTS score)
