About the school

New York University - College of Dentistry was established on March 31, 1865. The first session was held in 1866, which consisted of didactic and clinical training. It is the largest and third-oldest dental college in the United States. It has more than 1,900 students in its master's programmes from all over the United States and other parts of the world. The College of Dentistry offers master's degree programmes in Clinical Research, Biomaterials, Dental Hygiene, Pediatric Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Epidemiology and Health Promotion, Biology/Oral Biology, and many others.

The New York University - College of Dentistry is on First Avenue in Manhattan along the NYU Health Sciences Corridor. At NYU, the entire city of New York serves as the campus, and numerous residential options are accessible to you. Although NYU does not currently provide accommodation for graduate students, most NYU Dentistry students reside in apartments close to the university.

Admissions criteria

Admission requirements at the College of Dentistry includes the following: - A completed online application - A personal statement written by the applicant - Three letters of recommendation from an employer, academic, etc. - The applicant's undergraduate transcripts, which must be translated into English - A graduate admissions test result (GMAT, GRE, DAT, MCAT, USMLE, INBDE) - Proof of proficiency in English (TOEFL - 85, IELTS - 6.5) - Resume/CV (mandatory) - Minimum Score/GPA of 2.5+ on a scale of 4.0

The College of Dentistry states that the incomplete application (lack of proper documentation) will not be reviewed. All the supporting documents must be submitted within the given deadline.
