Located in Melbourne, Australia, Monash Business School comprises the Faculty of Business and Economics and the School of Business at Monash University, Malaysia. It was founded in 1958 by an Act of Parliament. It is named after Sir John Monash, an engineer, public administrator, and military leader.
The Business School has seven discipline-based departments, four research centers, and a Leadership and Executive Education Group. These groups deliver The Monash MBA, the Global Executive MBA, Entrepreneurship units, and Executive Education Program. The university is famous for major research facilities such as the Australian STEM Cell Center, Monash Science Technology Research and Innovation Precinct (STRIP), and many more.

How to Get Admission to Monash University?
The application process for Monash University depends on where you come from. If you are a native student, your application will be handled by VTAC. As an international student, you must apply directly to Monash University to start your journey. In addition, you will be required to meet specific criteria to get into Monash University. Native applicants may be eligible for one or two special entry programs when applying through VTAC.
Suppose you apply to the Australian campus and meet all the basic requirements. However, you will be asked to take an internal assessment (STAT Test) if the English standard still needs to be met.
How Hard is it to Get Admission to Monash University?
Monash University has an acceptance rate of 40%. This means out of 100 students, only 40 eligible candidates are selected. Thus, making the competition tough.
Application Requirements
- Applicants must be below 17 years old.
- English language requirement (you will have to complete several measures of English - proficiency, and the highest measure will be accepted as long as it is within the required limit).
- An ATAR of above 70.
- A CGPA of a minimum of 3.0.
- IELTS online and academic score of 6.5.
- Paper-based TOEFL score must be 550.
- The Pearson test of English score must be 58.
- CAE (Cambridge English: Advanced) score must be 176.
- CPE (Cambridge English: Proficiency) score must be 176.
- Cambridge Linguaskill General must also be 176.
