The Michigan State University (MSU) - College of Natural Science (NatsSci) is respected for its academic programmes and research. NatSci offers around 30 organised graduate programmes at MSU in the areas of biological, physical, and mathematics sciences. Some of the organisations students can join to enhance their educational experience include: NatSci Student Advisory Council, Science Theatre, Physiology Society, Geology Club, BLD Student Association, and Human Biology Club. These allow students to connect with their peers, faculty, and industry professionals.
All students receive one-on-one contact with faculty and are able to customise their studies based on their personal interests and strengths. The college furnishes various scholarships and financial aid options to help make education more affordable.

Admissions criteria
MSU College of Natural Science involves a holistic evaluation and considers multiple factors to assess applicants. While the requirements and eligibility criteria vary depending on the programme, generally, you will need to provide the following information:

A minimum 3.0 for the undergraduate coursework
90-semester credits in the following areas English: 6 to 8 credits Physics: 6 to 8 credits Mathematics: 6 to 8 credits Biological Science: 6 to 8 credits Chemistry: 6 to 8 credits Psychology: 6 to 8 credits Social Science: 6 to 8 credits
Acceptance as a major in one of the academic programmes
Relevant coursework and experience
Completion of 28 credits with an academic record that meets Academic Standing of Undergraduate Students requirements.

Personal Statement
International students must meet the University and departmental English language proficiency criteria. You must obtain the minimum score in the following exams to be eligible- TOEFL Internet-Based exam: 80, IELTS: 6.5, Duolingo: 110.
