Life at College of Applied and Natural Sciences
Louisiana Tech University is an excellent choice for both domestic and international students. The University has a diverse student body, composed of students from 47 states and 64 foreign countries. On-campus accommodation is available for students. The Department of Residential Life offers a variety of housing options in addition to off-campus accommodation, which is also available. Students can apply for on-campus accommodation per the procedure listed on the college website. Meals are available on campus through the University’s dining services. The Good Nutrition Mission Food Pantry provides necessary items such as dairy products, canned food items, and personal care items to students experiencing food insecurity. The University has fitness facilities available for students. The Lambright Sports and Wellness Centre features a range of equipment such as free weights, power racks, cardio equipment, machine weights, and more. The centre also offers group exercise classes and other fitness events.

Admissions criteria
Admission requirements and fees vary for different courses A general set of admission requirements is as follows: - All sections of the application, including submission, must be completed - A non-refundable application fee of $40 - Letters of recommendation are required for some courses - GRE scores - Depending on the requirement of the graduation programme - Most current or highest TOEFL/IELTS exam result, no more than two years old. - Resume/CV
International students must submit additional requirements to complete a graduate studies application:
- Proof of English proficiency: You must obtain the minimum score in the following exams to be eligible- TOEFL Paper-Based: 550, TOEFL Internet-Based exam: 80,IELTS: 6.5, Duolingo: 105, and Pearson Test of Academic English: 58. Louisiana Tech also accepts the certificate of completion of ELS Level 112 intensive English course from the English Language Schools as proof of English proficiency.
