Louisiana Tech University’s College of Applied and Natural Sciences is categorised as a "High Research Activity" institution and is a component of the University of Louisiana system. Admissions criteria
Generally, all applicants will need to submit the following documents to meet the eligibility criteria for admission: - Online application - GRE/GMAT (Not required for Executive MBA, Concurrent MAcc/MBA, or Graduate Certificate applicants) The test must be no older than 5 years. - Official transcripts from all institutions attended must be submitted
International students must submit additional requirements to complete a graduate studies application:
- Proof of English proficiency: You must obtain the minimum score in the following exams to be eligible- TOEFL Paper-Based: 550, TOEFL Internet-Based exam: 80,IELTS: 6.5, Duolingo: 105, and Pearson Test of Academic English: 58. Louisiana Tech also accepts the certificate of completion of ELS Level 112 intensive English course from the English Language Schools as proof of English proficiency.

- Copy of Affidavit of Support
- Copy of bank statement (less than 6 months old and showing the minimum yearly amount on the current affidavit of support
- Names and contact information for references – some programmes require them
- Names and dates of all post-secondary Universities attended where credit was attempted (whether or not credit was earned)
- International students completing ELS 112 Certification must upload a copy of the ELS Certificate.
- English translation of foreign transcripts #### Fees and other expenses
- International student insurance fee: $372
- Technology enhancement fee: $5 per credit hour up to 12 hours
- Energy surcharge: $10 per credit hour up to 12 hours
