Terms and Conditions (“rules”)

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE SURVEY AND ENTER OR WIN THE COMPETITION. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Details of promoter:

The organiser of the Prodigy Finance On Campus Video Campaign giveaway (“giveaway”) and the sponsor of this competition (“competition”) (together the “Campaign”) is Prodigy Finance Ltd, (“promoter”).

2. Agreement to rules:

By participating in the Campaign, you agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these conditions.

3. Eligibility to participate in the On Campus Video Campaign:

This campaign is open, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of the promoter as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Campaign. The promoter reserves the right to require that you prove that you are eligible for entry under these terms only to those who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of participating in the campaign. Winners will be chosen only if they have received (i) one fully disbursed loan originated in 2023 from Prodigy, or (ii) a conditionally pre-approved loan from Prodigy to fund their first or second period of their courses, and where all relevant loan paperwork needed for an application has been submitted. Members of the general public are not eligible to participate in the campaign. Employees of the Promoter and its affiliates or their immediate families or households or anyone else professionally connected with the campaign shall not be permitted to participate in the campaign.

4. How to participate:

You are eligible to participate in this competition by having a fully disbursed loan or a conditional pre-approved loan from Prodigy, and by:

1. Creating a 1-minute video/reel about your study abroad experience

2. Sharing the video/reel to your social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn) and tag Prodigy Finance’s accounts on all three platforms

3. Record your submission by entering your name, the email registered with your Prodigy Finance account, and sharing the URL of your video here

4. Including the hashtag #prodigyoncampus when sharing your video

5. Including your unique referral code in your caption when sharing your video

6. Getting at least 100 likes on your video

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, or any other Social Network_. _

5. Optional additional entry requirements:

For an additional entry into the draw to win, you must make two Successful Referrals, using your Referral Code. Prodigy will generate your unique Referral Codes (the “Code”) and send the Code prior to the competition start date. To activate the referral, the Referee must register a loan account with Prodigy on its website: https//:prodigyfinance.com and use the Code when prompted. The Code will be valid until 31 October 2023, whereafter it shall expire automatically. Only one Code can be used per Referral. A Referral is successful if the Referee i) starts a new loan application with Prodigy Finance and uses the Code in the loan application process, as directed by Prodigy; ii) meets all the eligibility and underwriting criteria, (iii) is offered a loan by Prodigy; and iv) the loan is approved by Prodigy. The Referee cannot be (i) the Referrer, or (ii) any existing Prodigy borrower, or (iii) have started a loan application with Prodigy Finance.

6. Campaign period:

The campaign commences on Monday, 04 September 2023 at 8AM GMT, and closes on Tuesday, 31 October 2023 at 8am GMT (“closing date”).

7. Prizes:

Five applicants will be randomly selected from all valid entries received and verified by Prodigy, to receive an Amazon voucher equivalent to the value of $300. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and cannot be substituted for cash. Amazon vouchers are subject to the T&Cs of Amazon.

8. Winner selection and notification:

Winners will be chosen within 15 business days of the close of the Campaign by random draw. The random draw will be conducted by the promoter. The Winners will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. The promoter may require the Winners to complete certain formalities, such as completing a declaration and release before claiming the prize. The promoter shall have no liability for the Winners’ failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for the Winners’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If any Winner cannot be contacted or does not claim their prize within 14 days of notification, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from that Winner and pick a replacement Winner from among all remaining eligible entries received for the random draw. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY WINNER (AT PROMOTER‘S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE CAMPAIGN, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.

9. Disputes

This Campaign is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without respect to conflict of law doctrines. As a condition of participating in this Campaign, you agree that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between you and the promoter, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this campaign, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in the United Kingdom having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall you be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than your actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Campaign). You further waive all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

10. Compliance with the rules:

The promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Campaign should virus, bug, non-authorised human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond the promoter’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Campaign. In such a case, the promoter may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by the promoter. The promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the campaign or website or violates these rules. The promoter has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Campaign, to void votes for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Campaign rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Campaign may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the promoter reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless the promoter and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors, other than for death or personal injury arising from negligence of the promoter, so far as is permitted by law, from any liability, illness, injury, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) your participation in the Campaign and/or your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or internet service; (iv) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Campaign; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Campaign or the processing of entries. So far as is permitted by law, the promoter makes no representation, warranty or guarantee regarding any prize, including but not limited to the warranty of merchantability or fitness for the intended purpose.

13. Privacy policy:

By participating in the campaign, you agree that your personal information may be collected, stored, processed and shared by the promoter on its business platforms, its affiliates and its third-party survey provider(s) for the purposes of operating this campaign. Any personal data relating to the Winners or any other entrants will be used in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy which can be viewed at https://prodigyfinance.com/privacy-policy, and the survey data gathered will be anonymised, and only used for the purposes of research and improving the customer experience at Prodigy. You are providing your information to Prodigy Finance Limited and not to any other party and the promoter shall not sell, transfer or otherwise share this data with any third party.

14. Publicity

By accepting the prize, the Winners accept that their names, photographs, voices, images, likeness, address (city/state) may be featured in publicity materials relating to the Promotion, except where prohibited by law. This includes publishing the names and photographs of the Winners on the promoter’s website for a period of 6 months starting on the day they are confirmed as Winners.

15. Winners list

Participants in the campaign may request a copy of the Winners’ names or a copy of these official rules, by mailing your request to: Prodigy Finance Limited, 2nd Floor, Hardy House, 16-18 Beak Street, W1F 9RD, United Kingdom. Requests must be received no later than 01 December 2023, 12pm GST.
