Admissions criteria

The admission criteria for Lewis College of Science And Letters vary depending on the programme you are applying to. However, below is a list of general requirements all applicants must meet.

Application Fees: This fee can only be paid by credit card - Undergraduate GPA: A minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0/4.0 is required for regular admission. Citizens and permanent residents of the United States with a cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 2.5/4.0 may be admitted as non-degree students - GRE Scores: All degree-seeking applicants can submit graduate record examination scores - Transcripts: Official and original paper transcripts, individual mark sheets, or electronic transcripts -Degree: If the degree is completed, you must provide the document - Resume: A resume must be uploaded through the online application portal - Letters of Recommendation: Two letters of recommendation must be uploaded through the online application portal

In addition to the above list of documents, international students have to submit the following:

Financial support form: International students must demonstrate that they have the financial resources to support themselves while studying at Illinois Tech. They should submit a Financial Affidavit of Support form, which must be signed and stamped by the bank officials. To obtain a student visa to study at Illinois Tech you will need a: Passport SEVIS I-901 fee Form I-20, issued by the college Form DS-2019, issued by the college SEVIS I-901 fee receipt Financial documents Visa application form Photographs of the interview

The I-20 or DS-2019 must be obtained from the college to study in the United States. Canadian citizens do not require student visas for this purpose. As soon as you receive your immigration documents, you should pay the SEVIS I-901 fee.
