Zarb School of Business by Hofstra University. The history of the university dates back to 1934 when Howard Brower and Truesdel Peck Calkins first discussed the future of the Hofstra estate. A common ideology and enthusiasm for establishing an institute of higher education resulted in the creation of the university.

The Frank G. Zarb School of Business is in the historical town of Hempstead in New York. It is the second largest city in the state after New York City, making it an important town from a national point of interest.

The Frank G. Zarb School of Business is located in one of the most iconic locations in New York. Surrounded by the New York City skyline on one side and the Atlantic shoreline on the other, the campus offers the best access to the city and the shore. Being close to New York City, the campus offers the students ample opportunities for hands-on industry experience.
The master's programme in business not only provides knowledge about general business but also covers specific subjects like accounting, taxation, finance, and more. Students get a chance to learn through hands-on experience in the Leed-certified building inaugurated in 2019.

The Frank G. Zarb School of Business has additional benefits for students with more than a 3.2 cumulative GPA. Once the application reviews are complete, the students are eligible for GMAT waivers.
The university has designed a particular Zarb executive Speaker and Executive Series for the students. The purpose is to allow the students in the Residence programme to engage and gain insights from higher-level executives in the industry.
The courses are pretty flexible, allowing students to attend part-time courses or even evening classes in case they cannot take the full-time course.

Admissions criteria
The following steps are needed to apply for the Frank G. Zarb School of Business: The application process begins with uploading a list of documents Official transcripts are generated by all the institutes the applicant has attended. Unofficial transcripts are only acceptable during the application process, but once the application is accepted, the applicant must submit the official ones A detailed resume listing all the professional experience the applicant has had in the field Two professional recommendations, along with their contact information A personal statement addressing what the applicant wants to achieve from joining the program and how it would benefit them and society GMAT scores are mandatory but may be waived off for those with more than a 3.2 cumulative GPA in their undergraduate course Some other prerequisites are required for those wanting to apply for an MBA in accounting, which is available on the school's website Apart from the list of documents mentioned in the above section, some additional ones are needed for international students. A decent score in one of the English language proficiency tests. In the case of TOEFL, a minimum score of 80, 6.5 in the case of IELTS, and 53 and 4 for the PTEA and ITEP exams, respectively. In light of COVID-19, TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition, IELTS Indicator, or Duolingo score of 120 or more is also acceptable ELS 112 certificate A bachelor's degree from any regionally accredited US institution A bachelor's degree from an institution whose language of instruction is specifically English Bachelor's degree from English-speaking countries, African Anglophone countries, or Commonwealth Caribbean Anglophone countries To study as an international student, one must apply for an F1 visa in their home country. But before that, the applicant must obtain a Form I-20 from the university To get the form issued, one must complete the I-20 application form and submit a copy of their passport and an official bank statement or letter with bank letterhead The bank statement should mention that the candidate has sufficient funds available. For students with a cash sponsor, an affidavit of support must be submitted. Students with dependent spouses or travelling with kids must also submit a dependent information form and a copy of their respective passports. Students with room and Board sponsors need to submit a sponsor's promise of food and housing.
