Life at Andrew Young School of Policy Studies
Students experience a thriving school life in AYS and get access to various services like Career Services, Academic Assistance, Writing Resources, Social Action Alliance, Student Organisations, Study Abroad, and Honors Day. The Writing Studio is a welcoming space for graduate students that offers face-to-face tutoring sessions and online writing resources. The Intensive English Programme offers tutoring services to students whose first language is not English. Students have access to online writing handbooks to strengthen skills essential for expository essay writing. The leaders at AYS are socially conscious, active collaborators who engage their personal and professional skills to impact social change. The Andrew Young School of Policy Studies is committed to helping students enrich their academic programmes through international exchange and study. The school offers scholarships and grants through the school for qualifying students in addition to those offered by Georgia State University. The Andrew Young School of Policy Studies holds its Annual Honors Day each spring to recognise student academic achievements.

There are various student groups and organisations that students can join. AYSPS Student Organisations comprise core systems like the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Club (NLA), the largest club in the Andrew Young School. It is open to all Georgia State majors (undergraduate and graduate) interested in working or volunteering in a nonprofit environment. Other clubs supported by the Office of Career Services and Student Life include the Criminal Justice Graduate Student Association, The Economics Club, The Economics Department Graduate Students Association, BSW Social Work CLUB, and MSW Bridge Builders.

Admission Procedure: - Students should create an account to submit their application, check the status, and review the admission decision - Submit application materials by the deadline, including test scores and other materials - Upload transcripts from each post-secondary college/university attended - Upload each transcript to the Academic History section of the online application - Once submitted, students can access the application to review their status
